Children’s Gymnastics Instructor in West London - Leading Children’s Movement Provider

£19,875-26,500 (pro rata, based on 30-40 hours per week) + performance bonuses

Location: West London

Working pattern: 30-40 hours per week. Weekend availability on either a Saturday or Sunday is essential, along with some evening work until 7pm

Our client is a leading children’s gymnastics and movement provider, helping children build physical literacy, coordination and confidence from babies through to primary age. They’re looking for a Children’s Gymnastics Instructor to join their West London team on a permanent basis, leading classes for some of their youngest and most impressionable age groups.

If you’ve spent years in the gym training or competing and now want to pass that on, this is a really rewarding place to do it. The role brings together strong gymnastics knowledge and genuine warmth: breaking skills down safely, spotting with confidence, and helping every child leave a little braver than they arrived. Key responsibilities:

• Class delivery: Lead a range of gymnastics and movement classes, including tumbling, beam, bars and creative movement, with a particular focus on younger children.

• Safe, confident coaching: Use your technical knowledge to break skills down, spot safely and help each child progress at their own pace.

• Parent engagement: Feed back to parents on their children’s progress and development, helping them see just how far their child has come.

• Centre standards: Support with general admin and day-to-day operations, and help keep the centre to an impeccably high standard alongside the team.

About you:

• Strong gymnastics background: You have a solid history of training or competing in gymnastics, with a confident grasp of technique, skills and safe spotting.

• Early years experience: You’ve worked with babies, toddlers or young children before and know how to bring energy and patience to that age group.

• Customer service: You’ve worked in a customer-facing role and can build genuine rapport with parents and children alike.

• Reliable and committed: You’re dependable, you arrive ready to go, and you’re looking for a role you can commit to for the long term.

• Flexibility: You’re happy to work evenings and weekends, and you bring a can-do attitude to everything you do.
