About Us

Love Childcare Recruitment was founded in 2021 as part of the Love Recruitment Group, a business built on the belief that great recruitment comes from people who genuinely understand the sectors they serve.

We exist to connect outstanding childcare professionals with the organisations that need them most, across nursery and early years, wraparound and out-of-school childcare, and sports and education.

We're not a generalist recruiter who sometimes works in childcare. This is all we do — and we've built everything around it.

Our team has worked inside the sector. We've been in the settings, spoken with the practitioners, sat across from the hiring managers. That experience shapes every search we run and every conversation we have.

We recruit across three specialist lanes:

• Nursery & Early Years — from trainee educators and room leaders through to nursery managers and regional operations roles

• Childcare, Play & Wraparound Care — breakfast and after-school clubs, holiday camps, out-of-school providers, and play-based settings

• Sports & Education — coaches, activity instructors, heads of sport, and sports-based childcare roles

Across all three, our approach is the same: understand the business, understand the candidate, and only make introductions we'd stake our reputation on.

Love Childcare Recruitment sits alongside Love Recruitment (fitness and leisure) and our International division within the Love Recruitment Group, founded by Lawrence Everest and Abhi Lakhina. The group shares the same founding principle: sector knowledge, genuine relationships, and recruitment done brilliantly and with passion.

Our childcare division is led day-to-day by Steve Brennan, Recruitment Director, with the full support of the wider group leadership and team.
