Level 3 Nursery Practitioner - Family-Run Nursery Group
£32,100-£34,500 (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Location: Southfields, London (SW18). Only a short walk from Southfields Station
Our client is a family-run nursery group with a strong reputation for warm, high-quality early years care. They're looking for an enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their brand new nursery due to open in January 2027!
They operate multiple nurseries in the region so can accommodate earlier start dates and they're looking for an experience educator to guide children through their early learning journey and be part of a company-wide team that shares the same passion for early years education.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a nursery built around a thoughtfully blended curriculum, with Montessori and Reggio Emilia-inspired learning, three separate garden areas, and easy access to nearby green space at Coronation Gardens for outdoor exploration. It's a business that backs its promises with real investment too: specialised training, funding towards further qualifications, and mentorship from experienced early years professionals, all within a group that's actively growing and opening new sites, offering future development too.
On offer is a strong salary, a four-day working week, and a benefits package built around genuine staff wellbeing.
Working pattern: Full-time, 40 hours worked across a 4-day week, giving you 3 days off every week.
Key responsibilities:
Curriculum delivery: Leading engaging, hands-on EYFS activities and tracking children's progress.
Role modelling: Guiding your team, acting as a role model for assistants and apprentices, and supporting colleagues to develop best practice.
Relationships and standards: Building trusting relationships with parents and carers and working closely with leadership to keep standards high.
About you:
Qualified: Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years, with a higher qualification desirable.
Experienced: Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting, ideally in a senior practitioner or room leader role.
Committed: A strong communicator with a good understanding of safeguarding and health & safety, and genuinely passionate about early years education.
What's in it for you:
A Medical Cashback Plan worth over £1,000 a year, covering GP access, health screening, dental, optical and more.
Blue Light Card discounts, leadership development opportunities, and long service rewards.
32 days annual leave including 8 bank holidays and 4 personal wellbeing days.
