Nursery Manager in Staines-upon-Thames

£50,000-£55,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications) + up to £5,000 performance bonus

Location: Staines-upon-Thames.

Our client is a well-established nursery offering high-quality Early Years care in Staines-upon-Thames. They're looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a talented team and continue building on a genuinely strong reputation.

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, with the nursery open from 7.30am to 6pm. Availability for a September start is essential.

Key responsibilities:

• Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing nursery team, building on a strong existing culture.

• Reputation and community: Grow the nursery's profile and its place in the local community.

• Child-centred practice: Ensure the children remain at the heart of everything the setting does, day in and day out.

• Autonomy and ownership: Run the nursery with genuine independence, backed by supportive, empathetic ownership.

About you:

• Qualified: You'll hold a full and relevant Level 3 (or above) childcare qualification, along with a Maths GCSE or Functional Skills equivalent.

• Experienced: You'll bring comprehensive knowledge of leading and managing Early Years settings, with a proven track record of improving performance.

• Relationship-driven: You'll build strong, nurturing relationships with children, families, staff and stakeholders alike.

• Confident and accountable: You'll be comfortable operating autonomously, taking ownership, and carrying responsibility.

• Passionate: You'll bring genuine enthusiasm for childcare, child development, and making a difference in your community.

• Safeguarding-focused: You'll hold a detailed knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
