Qualified Wraparound Childcare Manager (Breakfast & After School Clubs)
Horley, RH6
Flexible term-time hours (20 to 25 per week), including up to 3 hours of management time out of setting AND flexible holiday club hours (10-50 per week)
Up to £16ph (depending on qualifications and experience)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and qualified individual who is looking to develop their leadership skills in the childcare sector! With the support of a wider management team, this role will involve leading a team of play and childcare leaders, taking an active role in the development and daily management of our clients thriving and successful before and after school clubs. Your primary duties will include the care and safeguarding of children, and creating a positive and nurturing environment for children aged 2-11.
Due to the age of the children attending, the Wraparound Manager at this venue is required to have a minimum Level 3 qualification in Playwork, Childcare, or Early Years. As well as this, you will also need to have...
- Experience Leading a Team - understanding that you need to be fair, genuine and heartfelt, and respect everyone's differences and uniqueness, whilst also ensuring safety and professionalism
- A Passion for Working with Children - we're looking for someone to provide inclusive, fun, and engaging provision for the children in your care, while inspiring them to explore their interests
- Enthusiasm and Organisation Skills - you will be assisting with the planning and delivery of activities with structure and enthusiasm. This includes a wide range of activities, including multi-sports, indoor and outdoor games, arts & crafts, downtime and structured play
- Responsibility and Reliability - the safety and enjoyment of the children in your care will be your responsibility and all team members are required to follow specific policies and procedures, including completing registers, accident and incident Forms and health & safety checks as needed, and the children and families also benefit from consistently reliable staff
- Communication and Engagement - all Childcare Play Workers are expected to conduct themselves professionally and communicate effectively with all team members, parents, children and schools on a daily basis. You will be a representative of the organisation's brand so it's key to always be a pleasure to be around!
Start dates from July 2026 to September 2026 can be considered for this role
Please note: Staff are paid across all 12 months of the year. For worked hours across the 39 weeks of the school year, this is the equivalent of £16 per hour. For a term-time contract of 25 hours per week, you annual salary would be £16,550.00.
