Term-Time Only
Up to 26 hours per week (Monday to Friday 7:15-9am & 3-6pm) - flexible availability may be able to be considered
We are recruiting for a well-known childcare company that prides itself on being an inclusive, play-based provision, who's goal is to provide children with high-quality care and play experiences - supporting development through learning new skills in a variety of enriching activities.
We're looking for someone to provide inclusive, fun, and engaging provision for the children in your care, while inspiring them to explore their interests. A little bit about you…
- You will ideally hold a Level 2 in Playwork/Childcare or equivalent training
- Previous childcare and/or Playwork experience
- Building positive and professional relationships
- Caring and sensitive to children’s individual needs
- Good Knowledge and understanding of the Ofsted Welfare Requirements, including the EYFS
- Active and energetic. Prepared to get involved in children’s play
- Good Knowledge and understanding of the Playwork Principles
- Team player and ability to use initiative
- Flexible and reliable
Desirable qualifications…
Paediatric First Aid certificate
Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3
Basic safeguarding training and/or DSL training
Current and valid driving licence (Essential)
This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974
