After School Club Deputy Manager

£13.70ph (£15.34ph including holiday pay)

17.5 hours per week (2:30-6pm Monday to Friday) 

Term-Time ONLY with additional hours available during School Holidays if available

This role is with an incredibly successful and established wraparound childcare organisation, who have been offering provision for primary school children in Colchester for over 20 years.

If you are a qualified (Level 2 or above childcare qualification) and/or have relevant experience in a supervisor or leadership role in a similar childcare setting, this could be a great next step for you!

The role will have the responsibility of supporting the on-site manager with the day to day running of the club, mentoring your team, overseeing the delivery of the EYFS framework and supporting the Early Years and KS1 children attending, and ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing procedures are followed at all times.

You will ideally bring:

- A relevant L2 or above childcare/ qualification (L3 is desirable)
- Experience leading a team
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Strong communication with staff, parents and children
- A true passion in delivering a high quality of care to the children
- Someone who is fun, likes playing games, and can think on their feet so to ensure that children have the best experience of play
