After School Early Years Role

16.25 hours per week (2:45-6pm) with additional hours available during Breakfast Club hours (7:30-9am) if you're available
Up to £16 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
We are recruiting for a leading provider of out of school hours and wraparound childcare for primary school children in the Greater Manchester area. This company continues to grow in size, quality and scope every year and they are looking for an experienced and qualified Early Years member of staff to join their team to support the running of a new wraparound care contract at a school in Stockport.
Having taken over a successful provision on December 1st, the venue is currently in a key transition period, meaning this role is ideal for someone who is experienced, who is calm and consistent, and who can support a group of Nursery age children into new routines.
This Early Years role involves having responsibility for the management of the EYFS programme and any key children at your provision where you will plan programmes and lessons effectively within the company structure, monitor progress, inspire children, and deliver effective and efficient activities.
If you're available, you will also have the opportunity to work 30-40 hours per week during the school holidays with free spaces for your own children, if you have them!

What you need to have:
A full and relevant level 3 (or above) childcare qualification
Experience working in a similar Early Years/Nursery environment
Knowledge and experience of working in a primary school or pre-school
Knowledge and experience of working to safeguarding and Ofsted policies
Passion for child development
Be a great communicator and build relationships with all stakeholders
This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974
