Qualified School Club Manager
Stockport, SK5 6BG
16.25-25 hours per week (Breakfast Club: 7.15-9am and After School Club: 2:45-6pm)
After School hours are ESSENTIAL, Breakfast Club hours are optional
Up to £16 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
We are recruiting for a leading provider of out of school hours and wraparound childcare for primary school children in the Greater Manchester area. This company continues to grow in size, quality and scope every year and they are looking for an experienced and qualified leader to join their team to run a new contract at a school in Stockport.
Having taken over a successful provision on December 1st, the venue is currently in a key transition period, meaning this role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading, who is calm, consistent, and people-focused, and who can support an existing team while embedding new staff and new routines, processes, and standards. You will have close support and access to an incredibly experienced senior leadership team throughout your time in role.
As a School Club Manager you will manage all the day-to-day aspects of the clubs at your school that can attract 30-50 children. You will have a specific focus on safeguarding the children in your care, leading your team, managing registers and schedules, and managing relationships with the school and parents.
If you're available, you will also have the opportunity to work 30-40 hours per week during the school holidays with free spaces for your own children, if you have them!

What you need to have:
- A full and relevant level 3 (or above) childcare qualification
- A minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar environment
- Proven experience leading a team in a childcare environment (teaching, nursery, wraparound, sport, holiday camp etc.)
- Knowledge and experience working in a primary school
- Knowledge and experience working to safeguarding and Ofsted policies
- Passion for child development
- Be a great communicator and build relationships with all stakeholders
This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974
