Regional Robotics Tutor and Manager
Locations: Surrey and London
Pay: £20–£30 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours: Minimum 10 hours per week, including delivering after-school sessions Monday to Friday (typically between 3:00–4:30pm)

Our client — an innovative international education company entering the UK market — is looking for a Regional Robotics Tutor and Manager to bring their Build My Robot after-school clubs to life across schools in Surrey and London.
This programme introduces children to robotics, coding, and STEM through exciting hands-on activities, projects, and team challenges. As a Regional Tutor and Manager, you’ll plan, deliver, and evaluate your own sessions while recruiting, training, and supporting a growing team of tutors in your region.
You’ll also play a key role in expanding the programme — building partnerships with new schools, managing local marketing efforts, and driving participation in after-school and holiday clubs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging weekly robotics and coding sessions using the organisation's structured curriculum
- Lead the regional marketing and outreach to ensure strong club attendance
- Drive business development by securing new school partnerships for after-school and holiday programmes
- Recruit, train, and line manage new tutors to ensure high teaching standards
- Prepare materials and adapt content to suit student needs and school context
- Lead the class and manage student participation and behaviour
- Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and one-to-one support
- Supervise and collaborate with Teaching Assistants and support staff
- Promote creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in STEM
- Ensure student safety by following company safeguarding policies
- Maintain and return equipment in good condition
About You:
- Experience teaching or working with children aged 5–12 years old
- Experience managing multiple projects at any given time
- Strong interest and knowledge in STEM, robotics, coding, and computing
- Confident classroom management and communication skills
- Organised, proactive, and enthusiastic
- Teaching qualification or STEM education experience (preferred)
- Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974
