After School Club Manager – New & Growing Wraparound Childcare Company!
Dulwich - SE21 8HZ
£15-£20 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
7:00am-8:30am and 3pm-6pm Monday to Friday during Term-Time with option of additional hours during School Holidays
Candidates MUST hold a full and relevant L3 (or above) Early Years childcare qualification as this provision caters for children aged 3-11 years of age
We are recruiting for a growing Wraparound Childcare company who opened their doors 18-months ago and are steadily building and growing their reputation in the sector. The owner is a former Assistant Headteacher with over 15 years experience in teaching and also owns a separate organisation focused on developing digital and coding skills for children, and is looking for equally passionate people to join the team and help grow the company.
Their philosophy and approach is focused on providing opportunities for growth, exploration, and FUN for children once school ends! They strongly believe in the power of play, and all of their programs are designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. As an After School Club Manager you will be responsible for leading and overseeing a team of staff to create this environment.

What Will You Need?
Qualifications: It is essential to hold a Level 3 Ofsted-approved 'full and relevant' early years qualification for this role
Passion for Childcare: Working with children and a having a commitment to their well-being is absolutely essential with evidence of how you've impacted children's lives
Childcare & Management Experience: You will oversee the daily wraparound care program, planning and delivering engaging activities for children aged 3-11, and leading and managing a team of play workers and assistants
Safeguarding Knowledge: You will need to ensure compliance with all safeguarding and health & safety policies from all staff and maintain accurate records and reports of incidents, accidents, and concerns
Customer Service Skills: You will be required to build strong relationships with children, parents, and school staff through excellent communication and interpersonal skills
