Activity Leader – Leading Childcare Organisation

Clapham (SW11) and Crystal Palace (CR0 2PL)

£14-16p/hour (dependent on experience)

Part time position term time, 3pm - 6:30pm, Monday - Friday

Breakfast club hours available in (CR0 2PL) = 7:30am-9am

Up to 40 hours during holiday camps!

We are recruiting for a leading provider of childcare provision for primary school children in London. This company is an Ofsted registered provider of wraparound, sport, and inclusion activities and continues to grow in size, quality and scope every year. They're now looking for someone who is passionate about children’s play and activity to lead a brand new provision at a prestigious group of independent schools in South West London.

As an Activity Leader you will assist with planning and delivering a structure for activities, this could be sports, indoor and outdoor games, arts and crafts, downtime and structured play. Not everyday will be the same! You will also work during the school holidays as part of their activity and sport camp programmes. You will work closely with the senior team in the organisation on an exciting project that has huge potential.

As an Activity Leader, you will ideally bring:

• Strong communication skills and be comfortable bring their own ideas to the table.
• A forward-thinking and proactive individual who can solve present and future problems.
• A passion for childcare and child development.
• Previous childcare and/or playwork experience.
• Building positive and professional relationships.
• Caring and sensitive to children’s individual needs.
• Good Knowledge and understanding of the Ofsted Welfare Requirements.
• Active and energetic. Prepared to get involved in children’s play.
